Three witches have taken over Fun Street for Halloween weekend, and they have brought a sing along with them. The Hocus Pocus Halloween Party runs on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026 at our Silverburn centre, with four sessions on each day: 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Every ticket includes the show, the potion lab, a trick or treat bag, Halloween tattoos and full run of the soft play.
It is aimed at children under 12, and it is deliberately the gentle end of spooky. If your three year old finds a plastic spider hilarious rather than horrifying, this is their weekend.
1. What happens at the party
Four things run through the session, and the rest of the time your child has the whole centre to play in.
The sing along
The three witches lead a live sing along with dancing and some very daft moves. Children who are shy at the start usually end up in the middle of it by the second song, because the performers work the room rather than the stage.
The potion lab
Mixing, fizzing and colours that no chemist would sign off. Every child makes their own potion and takes it home with them. Babies under six months do not take part in the potion making, which is worth knowing if you are bringing a baby along with an older sibling.
Musical statues
Freeze, and pull your scariest face while you do it. Last one standing wins.
Best costume
The witches pick their favourites and there are prizes handed out on the day. Every session has its own judging, so a 4pm ticket is not a lesser ticket.
2. Dates, times and how long it lasts
- Dates: Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026.
- Session times: 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on both days.
- Length: 1 hour 30 minutes inside, with a further 15 minutes allowed for getting in and out.
- Ages: recommended for children under 12.
- Where: Fun Street, upper level, Silverburn, Barrhead Road, Glasgow G53 6AG.
Entry and exit times are kept to strictly, because the next session is waiting. Please arrive about 10 minutes before your slot and queue to the left of the entrance door.
3. Ticket prices by age

Adults pay because adults take up space, and the number of grown ups in the building is part of how we keep the play areas from turning into a scrum. At £2.99 it is not meant to be a second full ticket.
4. Which session to pick
An opinion, from watching a lot of these weekends. If your child is under three, take the 10am. They are fresh, the room is at its calmest, and you are home in time for a nap. Three to six year olds do best at 12pm or 2pm, when the sing along has the biggest crowd to feed off. The 4pm session suits older children and families who want a slower start to the day, and it is usually the last one to sell.
Halloween weekend sells out ahead of the day rather than on it, so booking online is the only way to be sure of the time you want. Places in each session are capped.
Scotland’s only fully air-conditioned, climate-controlled soft play centre.
That matters more in a costume than it does the rest of the year. A padded pumpkin suit in a warm room is a short-lived costume.
5. Costumes, and what to bring
Come dressed for it. The practical advice from every parent who has done this before: pick a costume your child can climb in. Long capes and trailing skirts catch on the frames, full face masks come off within ten minutes, and anything that needs holding will end up in your bag by the second song.
- Socks are required in the play areas, for everyone, adults included.
- A change of top is a sensible bag item on potion day.
- Nothing to carry. Trick or treat bags are handed out here.
- Face paint at home, not on the day, so you are not queuing for it.
Erina’s Kitchen is open through both days if you want to eat before or after your session. There is seating on the ground and first floors, and the kitchen does full meals for adults as well as children, so nobody is stuck with a lunchbox.
6. Getting here and parking
Fun Street is on the upper level at Silverburn, Barrhead Road, Glasgow G53 6AG. Parking at the centre is free, and the M77 junction 2 and the M8 both feed straight in, which is why we see as many families from Paisley, East Kilbride and Newton Mearns as from the Southside. Several bus routes stop at Silverburn.
On a Halloween Saturday the car parks fill from late morning, so if you have booked the 12pm or 2pm session, leave yourself an extra fifteen minutes.

Is it too scary for toddlers?
It is built for the under 12s and it stays on the friendly side of spooky. There are no jump scares, the lighting stays up, and the witches are pantomime rather than horror. Children who dislike loud rooms can use the toddler zone away from the stage while the sing along runs.
Do I need to book, or can we turn up?
Book. Places in each session are limited and Halloween weekend sells out before the day. Tickets are available online through our booking system, and tickets are non-refundable, so choose your session time carefully.
Do adults need a ticket?
Yes. Every adult attending needs a £2.99 ticket, because adults count towards the number of people in the building and towards the child to adult ratio in the play areas. Children are not supervised by our staff, so a responsible adult stays with each group.
What does a baby ticket include?
Babies under six months pay £2.99 and are welcome in the baby zone with you, but they do not receive the trick or treat bag or the Halloween tattoos and they do not take part in the potion making. Infants from seven months up receive the full ticket contents.
What if we are running late?
Arrive about 10 minutes before your session and queue to the left of the entrance door. Entry and exit times are held to because the next session follows straight on. If you arrive late, the team will do what they can, but a late arrival shortens your own time inside rather than everyone else’s.
Is there anything else on at Fun Street that weekend?
The Halloween party takes over the whole centre on 31 October and 1 November, so those two days are event sessions rather than standard play sessions. Normal play sessions run every other day from 10am to 6pm, and anything else we have coming up is listed on our events page.
