There are some children’s events that feel fun before they even begin, and the Toy Story Dance Along at Fun Street is definitely one of them. On 27th and 28th June, Fun Street is turning into a playful Toy Story-inspired celebration filled with music, movement, character moments, crafts, photo opportunities and plenty of space for children to burn off energy in the happiest way.
This is not just a sit-and-watch event. It is designed for children to get involved, move around, laugh, dance, pose, create and enjoy the kind of themed day that feels exciting without parents having to organise a single thing. From cowboy boots and space-ranger poses to Forky crafts and alien headbands, the whole event has been created to bring the fun, colour and imagination of Toy Story into a real family day out.
Whether your little one loves Woody, Buzz, Jessie, the aliens or just the joy of dancing in a room full of other children, this event is made for group-energy magic.
What’s Happening at the Toy Story Dance Along?
The main highlight of the day is the Toy Story Dance Along, led by our mascot. Children will be guided through fun, familiar routines inspired by the characters they already know and love.
Expect plenty of movement, laughter and playful moments, including:
- The “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” dance
- Woody’s cowboy line dance
- Buzz’s “To Infinity and Beyond” pose challenge
- Group dancing led by our mascot
- Plenty of chances for children to copy, freestyle and show off their best moves
The aim is simple: to create a room full of children moving together, smiling together and feeling completely part of the event.
Woody’s Round-Up Freeze Dance
No Toy Story event would feel complete without a bit of cowboy chaos, and Woody’s Round-Up Freeze Dance brings exactly that.
With upbeat country-style music, a lively dance floor and one very simple rule, children dance until the music stops. When it does, they freeze like a toy.
Some might strike a cowboy pose. Some might swing an imaginary lasso. Some might drop dramatically to the floor like a toy that has just been left behind. It is silly, energetic, easy to join in and perfect for children who love movement-based games.
It is also one of those moments parents love watching, because every child joins in differently.
Character Photo Station
Families will also be able to enjoy a fully themed Toy Story-style photo station, created for fun family memories.
The photo area includes themed props such as:
- Buzz-inspired space wings
- Woody-style cowboy hats
- Alien headbands
- Mr. Potato Head mix-and-match props
It is a lovely opportunity to capture the day, especially if your child arrives dressed as their favourite character. These are the kind of photos that feel full of personality, the ones you end up keeping, printing or sharing with family.
Quick Crafts Beside Erina’s Kitchen
For children who need a calmer moment between dancing, our quick craft area will be placed right by Erina’s Kitchen.
Children can enjoy simple Toy Story-themed activities such as:
- Build-your-own Forky
- Decorate-your-own alien headbands
- Toy Story colouring station
The crafts are designed to be easy, fun and age-friendly, giving children a chance to use their imagination without taking them away from the event atmosphere.
It is also a helpful pause for parents who want to grab food, coffee or something from Erina’s Kitchen while the children enjoy a creative activity nearby.
Best-Dressed Competition
Children are encouraged to dress up for the day, whether that means cowboy boots, space suits, character costumes or simply a fun outfit inspired by the Toy Story world.
There will be a best-dressed competition, with prizes for the top three children on the day.
Outfits do not need to be perfect or expensive. The fun is in the effort, the imagination and the confidence children feel when they arrive ready for the theme.
Themed Tattoos, Snacks and Treats
To add even more fun to the day, children can enjoy themed tattoos, while cowboy-inspired snacks and treats will be available from Erina’s Kitchen.
Erina’s Kitchen is Fun Street’s full restaurant, serving gourmet meals for adults and children, with seating available on the ground floor and first floor. It makes the event much easier for families who want to combine play, food and entertainment in one visit.
Why Parents Book Early
The Toy Story Dance Along is built for families who want a special themed day without the stress of planning one.
There is no need to source decorations, arrange entertainment, blow up balloons, clean up afterwards or try to keep children entertained at home. Fun Street has already prepared the music, mascot moments, crafts, photo areas, soft play and themed activities.
Parents simply bring their child, enjoy the atmosphere and watch them light up.
This is also why spaces are limited. Themed events at Fun Street are popular with families, and sessions can fill quickly, especially when the theme is as well-loved as Toy Story.
What’s Included with Admission?
Admission tickets include 1 hour and 30 minutes access to Fun Street, with an additional 15 minutes allowed for entry and exit.
Families are kindly asked to arrive 10 minutes before their session and queue to the left of the entrance door. Entry and exit times need to be observed strictly so each session can run smoothly and safely.
