How to Book a Visit or Party at Fun Street Glasgow

How to book a play session, a birthday party or exclusive hire at Fun Street Glasgow, with current prices, how far ahead each one needs booking and what to do on the day.

how to book at funstreet

Everything at Fun Street is booked through one online system. Pick your date and time, choose your tickets, pay, and the confirmation lands in your inbox straight away. Standard play sessions can also be walked in on a quiet weekday, but weekends and school holidays sell out and parties always need booking ahead.

What follows is the detail that saves phone calls: what a session actually costs, how far ahead each type of booking needs to go in, what is in each party package, and what happens if the day does not go to plan.

Booking a play session

Fun Street is open every day from 10am to 6pm, for children aged 0 to 12. A session is one hour and thirty minutes and it covers the whole building: the soft play zones, the separated toddler areas, the themed frame and the storybook playhouses. There is no per zone pricing and no upgrade to buy once you are inside.

  • Go to the booking system and pick your date.
  • Choose a start time. Sessions run through the day, and the first slot of the morning is always the quietest.
  • Add a ticket for each person coming in, adults included.
  • Pay, and your confirmation arrives by email straight away.

What entry costs

Prices are per person and they change between weekdays and weekends. Adults pay to come in too, which surprises people, although at £1.99 midweek it is not the part of the bill that matters.

WhoWeekdayWeekend
Adults, 13 and over£1.99£2.99
Baby under 6 months£1.99£2.99
Infant, 6 to 12 months£5.99£7.99
Toddler, 13 to 35 months£9.99£14.99
Child, 3 to 12 years£10.99£15.99

There is also After School Eat and Play on weekdays: £1.99 for an adult and £13.99 for a child with a meal included. For a family coming straight from school pick up it is the cheapest way to do play and dinner in one stop.

The full list, including the Fun Pass, is on the prices page.

A child aged 3 to 12 is £10.99 on a Wednesday and £15.99 on a Saturday. Over a term of fortnightly visits that gap is real money.

Build Your OwnFrom £21Agreed with youA consultation with the team, a custom menu, your own colour scheme, personalised party bags, and entertainment of your choice.

Every package comes with a designated party host, unlimited diluting juice, Fun Street invitations and the clean up afterwards. Full details and the brochure are on the parties page.

Which package actually suits your party

Four packages with overlapping contents is the kind of choice that takes twenty minutes and a spreadsheet. Here is how we would decide it.

  • Ruby, for a small party of under fives. Four year olds eat almost nothing at a party and remember the play, not the buffet. Put the money you save into the decorations you actually want.
  • Gold, for the standard nursery or class party. The decorations and the premium bags are the two things parents notice, and this is the package where they arrive included rather than bolted on.
  • Diamond, if the adults are staying. The two adult platters are the difference between fifteen grown ups standing about and fifteen grown ups sitting down, and the face painting keeps the older children busy in the room half.
  • Platinum, only really for 15 children or more. That is when the personalised banner comes free and the extra thirty minutes of play stops the room feeling rushed. Below fifteen children, Diamond does the same job for £3 less a head.
  • Build Your Own, when you already know what you want. If you have a theme in your head and a food list to match, starting from £21 and building up beats paying for items you would not have chosen.

Exclusive hire of the whole venue

Private hire gives you the entire venue for two hours: the themed play areas and Erina’s Kitchen, with personalised decorations and catering, for up to 40 children and 40 adults. Nobody else is in the building. It is what most first birthdays, christenings and baby showers here end up being, and the private hire guide covers it in full.

For a christening, a baby shower or a family day rather than a birthday, this guide is the more useful read.

On the day

  • Socks for everyone going into the play areas, adults included. This is the single most common thing families forget.
  • Arrive a few minutes early. Sessions are timed from your slot, so a late arrival costs you your own play time rather than anyone else’s.
  • Bring your confirmation, on your phone is fine.
  • Leave the packed lunch. Erina’s Kitchen serves food and drink across two floors, with allergy friendly and vegetarian options.
  • A change of clothes for the little ones is never a wasted decision.

Fun Street is on the upper level of Silverburn Shopping Centre, Barrhead Road, Glasgow G53 6AG, just off Junction 2 of the M77, with free parking. Directions and public transport are on the How to Get There page.

Changes, late arrivals and things going wrong

Plans change, children get ill and cars break down. The frank answer to most of these is the same: get in touch as early as you can and we will do what we can.

  • Need to move a session? Phone 0141 899 0125 or message 07496 181 036 on WhatsApp. The earlier the notice, the easier it is.
  • Running late for a party? Tell us before you set off, not when you arrive. The room is booked for a fixed window and knowing early is what lets us shuffle things.
  • Numbers changed? Party numbers can usually be adjusted up to a few days before, and it is far better to tell us than to arrive with six extra children.
  • Not sure a booking went through? Check your junk folder for the confirmation email first, then call us rather than booking twice.
